So after swapping the TPS as my old one's had it, the car will not idle normally anymore. When car starts up, revs jump to 3000 then back down to 800 and so forth. All I did was take the old TPS off and whack the new one on. I noticed that when I attached the TPS onto the throttle body, the throttle was forced to open up a bit in order for the TPS to screw in (and perhaps the reason the revs are jumping).

Has anyone had previous experience with this, or am I missing a calibration step of some sort? Cheers.
