Wtb: Tow Bar To Fit An M35 Stagea

I need help sourcing someone to fit a tow bar onto my M35 Stagea...

Has anyone had one fitted before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dont know if your still looking but I fitted a Yank G35 bar to my M35 and is rated to 2000kg

Seems that it is a "Class 1" tow bar though, which according to the manufacturer is 2000lbs.

Would still like the details on a 2000kg unit for M35.

a 2000lb towbar is only around 920kg, not what im after, but CAD any chance you can post some pics of your installation please?

The problem is that all custom towbars must pass ADR in Vic, otherwise they void your insurance.

I have spoken to a lot of tow bar places and the few that do custom bars backed the hell away very quickly from my car.

If you do find one on Melbourne... or Vic for that matter.

Please let us know!

I've scouted these forums and found only 1 company in Sydney (fast fit) that will do towbars for M35's

I end up using south coast towbars @ Unanderra

Cost $700, bar is custom made. And the work is great! Took a day and a bit to complete, Tongue sits nice and heigh so my trailer is nice and balanced on the ball. Rated at 1500kg

Highly recommended. It's a 1 man shop

That's because one end of it is attached to the tie down point in the corner of the boot floor...
