i just got a 1000degree infrared thermometer, i need it for when i tune cars not just mine, mine is a pain in the butt cause with the stock position twin turbo setup on my GTR i cant gain access to the manifold or dump pipes easily,

but on silvia's etc its going to be useful to check individual runner temps,

i didnt think u could use the infrared thermometer? i allways thought probe style thermometer in the runners was far more accurate?

of course its more accurate but its not practical,

if i have to tune my GTR then throw another GTR on the rollers, then the next day do a silvia etc its just not practical to have a probe setup, dont get me wrong it would be good to have the probes.
