A-lsd Light On

Hello all, im new to the forum.

i Have a problem, my a-lsd light is on, and the slip light doesnt seem to be working so the diff isnt locking, it locks sometimes but not like it use too.

So today i got a diagnostics test done and found, that there was a error code which said LSD MOTOR (OFF FAILURE).

Whats does this mean, how can i fix this..i need any help, do not know what to do about it.

The fluid is ok, checked all the fuse's and they are ok just cant figure this thing out.

The LSD is activated by a hydraulic pump. It has a motor.

Should be located in the Driver's side rear of your car on the underside (directly below the fluid reservoir)

Check it or change it if it's broken. Have you tried bleeding the system?

Is there anyway to repair this motor, which fuse is it linked to....

problem theres no real mechanics here that can fix this sort of thing.

I live on an island in the south Atlantic called st Helena, so very remote...theres only one other skyline here but it auto and doesnt have a-lsd.

any diy help will bee great.

Did you have a read of the A-LSD section at the start of this Drivetrain and tramission section ?

It will tell you how to start to fix your problem

Make sure the motor is plugged in and operational. You can give it 12V and should hear it working. Start there.
