I am in the process of upgrading my rotors to Dba 4000 series and i would like to run the 324mm rotors with my stock R33 gtst calipers.

Unique autosports sell the adaptors 4 $350 but they have advised me that i can no longer run my stock 16inch skyline rims.

Has anyone actually done this conversion, i need good honest advice

1. Does the sumitto caliper sit nice on the 324mm rotor

2. Can i run the stock skyline rims, i really want to keep my car looking original/sleeper

3.Who in sydney can help me with this

please help

1. Does the sumitto caliper sit nice on the 324mm rotor

They dont fit as though they were designed for it, because they werent. But they do fit and they do a good job

2. Can i run the stock skyline rims, i really want to keep my car looking original/sleeper

You can run the stock Skyline rims with a 324mm rotor if you throw away the Sumitomo caliper and throw on an Indycar or other motorsport type caliper that really hugs the rotor and needs little clearance. You cannot run the Sumitomo caliper with a 324mm rotor under a 16" wheel. Just like you cant run the R33/34 Brembo brakes under a 16" wheel

3.Who in sydney can help me with this

I suspect you are speaking to the right people in UAS. John is a but of a brake whore himself and along with their partners in Sydney engineer a lot of components for imports.

Real questio is, what do you do with your car to warrant an increase in brake rotor size? Just run better pads and fluid
