how strong are the gearbox and motors can they take a bit ive had mine for 3 months and redline it everyday just a question on how long it will take it

Pretty sure the r33 non turbo's use an r32 turbo gearbox... And no one can put an expiry date on a gear box. If your redlining the car, i would be more worried about the motor than the gear box.

motor seems ok so far no noises except when its cold it is a bit loud and has a few noises but once its warm its fine never done anything with a rb engine i had a s13 with a sr20 and it got punished and never let me down can sr20 take more then a rb?

you just got lucky with the sr20. both the sr and rb motors are good, but constant abuse is going to cause something to fail eventually. all it takes is a minor weakness in 1 part to have it let go and destroy an engine. i think maybe you should show a bit of mechanical sympathy and keep your boy racer antics off the street. people in imports redlining it all the time are the reason why import owners are targetted as hoons.
