you said you put the stock dump on... and it went away (first post).

now you are saying its been there for awhile...

which is it?

the clicking/ticking has been there but it was really really low before and you could barely hear it. the high pitch spool noise only happened with the screamer on and with the stock dump back on it went away but the clicking/ticking noise has gotten louder. my dad [ex mechanic] told me not to worry coz it was a fan belt but i highly doubt that now

anyway, that's a leaking exhaust manifold gasket due and most likely broken exhaust manifold studs.

common problem after 10yrs.

it gets worse over time until it basically sounds like a tractor and the car will barely run.
