R34 Gtt Playing Up

hey guys

i have a r34 gt-t with a few mods and it has the power fc installed.

the car has been playing up since i purchased it..

the car just doesnt want to start sometimes..(if i play around with it for a while it will finally start) or while im driving it just stalls on me n wont start for a while again..

at first i fought it was the after market imobiliser playing up so had it taken out but still doin the same thing..

when the starting issue occurs it sounds that the car wants to start but it just wont..(the problem occurs randomly car had been good for 3weeks than the past week played up nearly everyday)

any help would be great..thanks guys..

could it be any of these ideas and if so how can i check my self:

-standard immobiliser

-fuel pump

-fuel regulator

-power fc ecu

-earth problem

Does your car flutter by any chance? if it is, you're BOV Is blocked off...

nuh im pretty sure its just the stock BOV still connected but ill double check.

could be the crank angle sensor. it isn't registering that the car is turning over so it isn't injecting fuel or igniting it.

could also be the fuel pump though. to rule out the CAS, next time it fails to start, pull one of the spark plugs out. if it is wet then there is fuel going in, but for some reason it isn't sparking. that means fuel pump is ok and CAS is ok. if it is dry then more than likely the CAS is faulty, but could also be the fuel pump. to then test the CAS you need to remove it from the engine (keeping it plugged in though) and spin it by hand (with the key on). if you hear the injectors click as it spins then the CAS is fine and it's more than likely the fuel pump, or an ignition issue.

if it isnt either of them what else could i check or should i just get a auto electrician to check all the earthing?
