Selling my RWD toy as I no longer require it.

Anyone who knows me, or who has seen my cars, will vouch that I am very pedantic and only have cars that are of high standard, nothing less. Only the best for my cars, no expenses spared. No accident history [so no welds etc].

Car 2002 Rare White RS RX7 FD3S

Mileage 38XXXkm

Extra Comments The rx7 is a beast and a pleasure to drive with power and torque left, right and centre. I have spared absolutely no expenses on it whatsoever using only the best. Washed weekly and always warmed up and down. No accident history [clear of revs - I am the second owner since it landed in Australia] and mechanically solid, no issues whatsoever guaranteed.

Exterior has 1 very minor pin dent [can be removed via paintless dent removal if fussy], a few stone chips, but overall in very good condition.

Interior is immaculate, no rips, tears or signs of wear. Even the plastics look new off the showroom floor.

Specs:

- 5 speed manual [silky smooth with no shifting/crunching issues at all], factory white, icy cold air condition

As a comparison ... a similar setup with a t04z and 1.0 rear housing achieved 300rwkw on 15psi as well. The difference is my setup is a lot more responsive building boost just before 3000rpm - it is a lot more fun and better to drive guaranteed

- Just serviced last week after the car was tuned. New plugs, new genuine Mazda fluids [oil, gearbox, diff etc], new brake pads - mechanically 110% set

This is all I can remember for now, there's probably a few things missing but this is the jist of it. I have built the car to be enjoyed in more ways than one, guaranteed it will not disappoint.

    • Thanks mate 👍 The car was brought into the UK by a USAF mechanic until he was stationed back to the US, one owner later I bought her back in 2009. Luckily the only corrosion was on the sill seams, so once taken back to metal and treated and sealed all ok, I then undersealed the car myself and check yearly and treat any corrosion which to be honest is zero. She's garaged most of the time and hardly ever driven in the rain, but as you say most are rotten unfortunately, I was lucky in finding her as she was and still is in excellent condition.
    • Stunning car.  Looks amazing!  You're in the UK?  How the hell do you stop your car rotting away beneath you?  British cars are the WORST I've ever seen in regards to rust.  Some of the cars SR Autobody have done are borderbeyond saving.
    • not a date code? or a foundry code?
    • I have up to date pics of the engine build and turbo conversion over on my instagram @skpro_jects if you want to take a deeper look.   Basically the exhaust manifold is straight bolt on and the ports match (they arent any smaller than a 25 or 26 head).    the intake ports are different shape so the 20/25det manifold will bolt up but wont match properly or seal. You will need to port match using the 25det gasket as a stencil. Personally i ran the entire stock 20neo intake setup and have configured the swirl valves and torque valve to work based on my custom parameters to help with off boost response and spool. But this is using a standalone aem v2 ecu. The stock 20det ecu wont be able to control them.
    • Hi. a little later but if the topic is here. So...the exhaust is the same and you can use 25/Turbo or any aftermarket? What about intake side? Is it too "plug n play" or? (i do not remember for 100% but i think that one intake to head gasket was little bit different than on the RB25 - i bought gasket kit way back) I know that even if it "plug" those butterfly swirls would cause ECU to be confused or?   Just asking for the info 🙂 and of course the RB25 things are easier to come by
