Depends on the workshop, depends what else they might find.

Everything being in order and correct (rare) 3-5 days.

I mean if you rock up in the morning with the car, its obviously going to require hours to cool down etc. A lot of people don't factor that in.

So you've wasted a few hours of the first "day" booking before anything is even touched ;)

I would recommend 8-10 hours including the swap over off oil and water line fittings. 10 hours would allow for small setbacks like seized nuts or other such things. Generally you can expect $800-$1000 plus any parts used

Then for the tune they will need time to install the chip and tune it. You'll need to leave it for about 2 days to get the tune right usually but sometimes an additional day might be required.

Total time I would say 3-4 days for everything

Took my tuner 2 days to install turbo, injectors, make custom intake/cooler piping and tune the car. When I got the NIStune chip installed he only had it for half the day.

All of my stuff was direct bolt on replacement though, except the turbo needed the custom intake/cooler piping to fit.

Haha yeah Martin that's Andrew though. Providing there's nothing else booked in for the day, Hyperdrive's gotta be the most efficient workshop I've heard of.

My car took about a week all up to install the EMS and tune it. That includes shipping the ECU back to SA for a firmware upgrade. So turbos plus ECU and tuning, couple of days providing nothing goes wrong...

You talking on your GT-T?

If so, its markedly easier to remove the exhaust side and replace a single turbo as opposed to the twins.

A GTR does take longer.

Yeah but all his custom intercooler piping and shit wouldv'e made up for the difference I bet...
