LTS series computers will need a coilpack with inbuilt igniter.. any "series 2" coilpack ... r33 series 2/ r34

LTX series have inbuilt igniter so they run a "series 1" coil..... r32/ r33 series 1...

ok because i also have a x6 ignition module now because its in a vl im unaware whether its series one or two whats the best way to tell by looking at the engine

also im if i decide to run the external coils if i mountes them on the strut tower on passenger side that would be a little to close to the turbo dont you reckon because i was going to mount them on the firewall but the longest lead looks like its not quit going to reach the furthest away cylinder

You can still use the S1 RB25 coils with the X6 box, will just need some wiring done, or if you want to use to coils you have, make a couple of brackets and mount the on the intake side of the motor or on the cam cover.

Use the bolt holes that are already there :)

Might need to be a little creative though.

I have also seen aluminium brackets welded to one of the covers

the thing is i still have standard inlet im only looking at running about 300kw so i think ill stick to my standard coils with the x6 once they crap themselves then ill just use my boschs and get them wired in by then i should have a forward facing plenum or something similar or ill mount them on firewall and use longer leads.
