hey guys got a 33 gtr pushign out some good power out of twin t517z turbos but wondering if i could squeeze a t51r on a low mounted manifold? has it been done before?? i really love the sound of a big single and love the feel of going from lag to extreeem boost? also if it can be done is anyone interested in swapping my twin t517z (360kw@all4 21psi) for a t51r or t04z ect , must have a low mount manifold and !!,must!! be in good condition.. there is absolutely nothign wrong with my turbos , just alwasy been into the huge single?

Werent the old HKS TA45S turbo kits low mounted?

If you could find a HKS lowmount cast manifold you might be able to squeeze a T04Z in there? Not sure how you would go fitting a 4" intake pipe without cutting the shit out of the engine mount.

+1 for high mounted gates.

I always wanted a lowmount single also, with a big gidson motorsport looking manifold hanging over it. Id have the gate(s) pointing upward from the collector.

From memory of the best way to locate a gate is straight off the collector, which in a low mount is not always possible.

I would also vote T04Z.
