Probably, I'd be more worried about what further damage has been caused by blocking the breathers. White smoke is usually coolant (head gasket etc), blue is usually oil (piston rings etc) and black is usually caused from running the engine rich (not necessarily a bad thing).

you really should know what mods are done to it before you buy it...

if your unsure of what blowing smoke could mean then you pretty much need some help and eventually I reckon this thread will say 'take it to a decent workshop'...

when was last oil change

who knows....i'am yet to get around to it

the smokes blue i think..not useing water but dose over heat has 2X 12" thermos and has alloy radiator and has a intercooler in front of it all am going back to stock setup

i can tell you why is it blowing smoke but just wanted to see if anyone els would say it

so looks like the turbo has gone and the blocked of rocker cover breather would of been just adding to it ( now that it was blocked off i just hope the seals have not been push out)

i know this is kind of off topic but not really

but i'll ask anyway

my car will sometimes blow a puff of white smoke when i'm in traffic and take off sometimes and maybe drop the clutch a bit early like it bogs down a tiny bit and blows a bit of smoke

is that normal?

fine on acceleration and normal driving though

Hey was just wondering about my car, ever since its been tuned its been blowing alot of black smoke. Like i mean i wash the car and within 3 days the whole back of the car is black. Which looks really bad considering the car is white. Anyway what im trying to get at is do you think its possible the tuner has made it a bit over rich? and could get away with it running a bit leaner? or the tune has slightly gone out of wack since it was done(9 months ago) and needs to be redone?

yep i would say it is running very rich

The pressure built up would cause oil to be forced down the valve stem seals...also more likely the pressure in the sump would restrict the turbo oil return and pressurise the turbo housing forcing oil out the turbine oil ring. I wouldn't expect it wouldn't damage anything in the short term however if it has been doing it for a while the caked and burnt oil could have worn the turbine oil ring.
