Snapped My Clutch Bracket

As title says I have snapped a weld on my clutch braket. Happened on the drive home from work and seriously scared the fking shit out me. I want to get a nismo reinforced bracket but can't seem to find one for a r34 gtt. Does anyone know if the r33 or r32 one is the same?

Just finished sourcing out rails for my new velo seat and everything was good to go, now this happens...

Take it out and get it welded-probably stronger than aftermarket tin.

As above. The Nismo item just has a few extra spot-welds... Not worth the money in my opinion.

Have broken mine before & now have a standard item seam-welded. Just do a bit at a time so it doesn't distort as its quite thin metal. If you can't do it yourself go to an exhaust shop or somewhere with a welder. Will charge sweet FA. A LOT cheaper & a lot stronger than Nismo!

hey guys just a quick question, What is the clutch bracket for? i didnt put mine back on when i replaced my clutch and flywheel? is it needed?

The bracket is the pedal box that the clutch pedal is attached to under the dashboard.They have a habit of breaking so the best method is to strengthen them by welding

its a bracket that was bolted to the tranny/engine...i didnt put it back when i replaced my clutch....its ouside of the bellhousing were they both mate together.....heres a picture similar to it.....

whats if for? i dont find any use to it, it was just bolted on there..?
