My Supercar Drive Weekend

Well my partner organised a supercar drive for me for my bday, had no idea she just took me out next thing Im look at a Ferrari Modena 360 and a Lamborghini Gallardo (also a 370z but meh). It was a 4 hour drive through the gold coast hinterlands and yes i got to give it to them. The ferrari had the F1 style gear changes and the lambo had the gated 6 speed.

We summarise the cars by.

Ferrari 360 modena- It was a car that you could drive or your mrs could drive every day, it was comfy and nice in the slow parts but had balls once you got into it, and the sound was great.

Lamborghini Gallardo- This was a brutal beast. Its a purpose built weapon, the ride was hard and you had to concentrate like hell...But OMG the power and acceleration was insane. The exhaust sound just sent shivers down your spine.

Very nice...loves the interior of the Ferrari and the engine note.

How much did the whole experience cost, if you don't mind me asking?

I have been wanting to do the Supercar Drive Day on the Gold Coast for the last 2 years, hoping to get to do it next year!

Nah that has to be just a thing they put up. I have heard of plenty of people in their mid 20's doing supercar drive days through Adrenalin. The one I really wanted to do was 5 Supercars in one day (Gallardo, Modena, R8, Lotus, Aston I believe), doesn't look like they do it any more though

I think we saw you guys out there. Was it a few weeks ago? We went passed a 360, Gallardo and 370z going up toward the Natural Arch etc. White 32 GTR, grey R31 coupe and a red 300zx? Obviously not as rememberable as the exotics but ahwell.

Sounds like a good idea for a bday present. Would love to get to fang those things around the mountains.

I did mine last sun, but they run every thurs and sun I think. And yes it was certainly memorable.
