Should do alright with the long straight at EC then.

RH9? as in the 9'sec Drag R34 thats never run a 9?

No thats CRD's RH9. Willalls RH9 is an AUS delivered R32. Still in the top 5 quickest GT-Rs in OZ i think. They've converted it into a time attack car now.

the R34 RH9 is now looked after by godzilla motorsports and i believe it has run a 9. I'm at work atm so can't do link but i'm pretty sure there are video's on you tube of the run(s)

Nah, I'm hoping to do Classic Adelaide too, and there's just not enough time between the two events to transport and reconfigure the car to the different event specs.

I may still be driving something at Superlap, so all is not lost.

I know Ian will be pleased, he can give my spot to one of the many people who would ring and hassle him daily I reckon ;) lol

Well i guess that only took 7 years :D

^^^ lol :P

What did Giant's R32 run at Willowbank years ago? 9 something, with shagged semis and circuit camber etc.... on low mounts. Oh, and only one full pass because they were thrown out due to a non ANDRA cage.

One must wonder what Berry's 34 would run.... I've driven the things and it's farking insane.

Hmmm wow.

On another note, I'm always interested to see how and indeed if the drag fraternity can get their cars to last even one fast lap.

The requirements of the car are very far removed from drag.

Spoken for truth. I often wonder at the mentality of those praising some big hp dyno queen or drag car tuner when all they do is keep them alive for seconds at a time.

Track work places far greater demands on a car than straight line/dyno ever will.
