$10 says the housing is identical in size to yours Simon.

That would mean its profiled for a 61mm wheel when the garrett item is 60mm.. I would be both dubious and highly intrigued! lol

I would keep my $500 and T67 :) Tiny bit more lag for lots better top end wins for me!

He is going to try by running silly boost on his car to try and make more power than mine, good luck I say :)

I'm leaning towards the GT3076R not QUITE reaching the T67 (if it has fully equivalent setup) power but would like to see a pretty mental midrange - assuming he will also be running E85. Slightly quicker, maybe... the extra $500 has to prove some worth somewhere :)

I tried quite hard to convince the owner of a car I will be tuning soon to go a KD T67-25G on his Neo RB25 GTS4 but after I took him in my car (GT3076R) to convince him to get rid of the POS "T3/T4" he had he basically won't consider any other options.

I don't think it would be the same housing, the appear to machine in house so it wouldn't be hard to reprofile...

Also note the way that the rear housing connects to the CHRA is different, the T67 has a v-band where the Garrett is 6 bolt.

EDIT: They have also profiled it for a GT35R wheel by the looks so I'll take your $10 :)

Yeah same hub dyno (it's his dyno haha)

Will definitely get a comparo graph when it's finished, mind you his will probably be running stupid massive boost so might be hard to compare.

Tell the owner my car which doesn't have cams ran 11.0 @ 132.5mph, while my mates has Tomei poncams with GT3076R and ran 11.5 @ 127mph (Mind you his is a R34 so a bit heavier) :)

So heavier car, and he hasn't done the hero tune yet? They aren't worlds apart then... I was going to qualify my statement with "all other things being equal" but then reckoned you'd know what I meant.

Nah he has a "hero" tune haha It made 500hp on the same dyno as mine made 520hp

It's not a fair comparison, mainly due to weight... But it is the best I have to go on (same fuel, same tuner, similar boost and similar mods apart from turbo)

100% has standard cams. They were checked when the motor was installed, look at graph below for example of gaining power till 8100rpm (power figure is inflated by correction method, makes 520hp without it)

I meant intake manifold as well, or do you have a stock one? For the car to be building power up to those rpm its not going to be a turbo thing, its the tuning of the engine itself - the T67 is dropping boost yet power is still climbing. People do all sorts of things to engines to keep their torque curve holding on up to those rpm, whatever you have done to get that happening... I want ;)

China copy Greddy manifold... Also exhaust cam gear at -4deg :)

It's the turbo not the motor, on the same dyno there have been countless GT3076R RB25 cars with similar mods that all fall over between 7000-7500rpm

Imho the T67 is being made to look particularly good up high there due to the combination of bits, but makes comparisons a bit hard. Either that or your RPM calibration is screwed.

Long shot but could it be the fact it is a hub dyno instead of a wheel dyno? You would think the correction would take care of this but perhaps it is partially to do with that?

Nah, its definitely nothing to do with that. The only car I have tuned so far to have a power curve that "revvy" on a Dynapack was a fully built Honda Prelude motor (12.5:1 compression, head porting and 312deg "VTEC" cams) which was starting to level off at around 8000rpm making around 180kw @ axles.

Just to show you it's not just my car but rather the T67-25g turbo, I have below some results that Trent from STATUS has posted in the past.

If you have a look here a comparison of a 3071R vs T67, only goes to 7200rpm but you can see power is still climbing while Garrett has fallen over.

See below, he picked the averages of both of the runs he had on file.

runs @ 17psi and i have picked the best average of both. The T67 is a bit wavy but has since been sorted.

Nah mine is just a R33 RB25DET :)

Peak power at 7800rpm... stock RB26s don't usually make peak power up there!

240kw @ axles for a GT3071R, hmmm... thats not quite right either.

It's more like 250kw at the hubs and it's about right considering it's only running 17psi considering they max out around 270-280kw at 20psi
