love the thread it a long read but jam packed with good info...........quick question

hey i got a 2j with cams, upgraded valve train, wiseco's,manely rods head ported ,link g4 etc................i had a pair of kando td05/20g turbos which i sold brought them to run on a stock 2jz now ive built a motor im looking at getting the 800hp plus mark.........what do you guys think about a pair of td06sl2/25g with 4 in cover and a 8 cm rear turbo's i can change housings to 10cm/12cm there are option in rear housings................be to laggy, will i get 800-1000hp out of those td06sl2/25g's

25g x 2 will be too big IMO for a still 3l jz unless you're turning 9k rpm

Td06h-20g with 8cm rear will be monstrous on e85 turning the jz to 8000

Might not quite make 800rwhp. But will be bull shit fast

Also how did the 2j go with the td05-20gs?

Full boost / power erc?

im not using the td06h/25g im using the td06sl2/25g

's

never got them running i changed my mind and wanted to build a motor...............the sr boys are only making 220kws with these td05/20g is on par with a gt2871/6 nearly most 2j boys pull with gt28's are 420kws with ripe fruit on the motor

i got 272 cams, shimless buckets etc it's built to rev

here are the compressor and turbine wheels for the td05/20g and the td06sl2/25g not really that much of a differance in them few mm's

TD05/20G 3IN ANTI-SURGE COVER

Compressor wheel: 52.5 / 68 mm (20G)

Turbine Wheel: 49.3 / 56 mm (TD05H)

TD06SL2/25G 4 IN COVER

Compressor wheel: 60.5/78 mm (25G Wheel)

Turbine wheel: 54.1/61 mm (TD06SL2 / 11 Blades)

Speaking of cams earlier I'm going a td06h 20g 10cm on my rb25 would poncams be worth it or would stock cams be my better option I was as much response as possible with as close to 300kw as possible even a tad more if I could

Im honestly not sure why your chassing the TD06H though, what we know suggests the L2 is going to be more responsive and able to max out the flow of the 20g with ease.

Dont forget Simon's T67 uses the same rear wheel as an L2, no flow issues with the 10cm....

A fair while ago there was a topic by STATUS with a poopra that ran twin TD06SL2's and I think made a tad over 1000hp

Do it, it will be a monster :)

Run dual 6cm L2 for around 800hp or dual 8cm for 800-1100hp on 98.

Ive tuned a few pairs on similar setups to yours i prefer the 6cm as it makes it very liveable down low, the 8s are ballistic.. forget 10cms.

would you have a link to the twin sl2 supra thread

has anyone used the kando/kinugawa td06h or td06sh its bigger then the sl2.........sl2 is only slightly bigger then a td05 ........i'll be using the 25g compressor wheel with 4 inche so what 2 will net me the 1000hp

here are the specs

here is the td06h

Turbine wheel: 58.8/67.2 mm (TD06H / 11 Blades Inconel Wheel (TD06H4)

here is the td06sl2

Turbine wheel: 54.1/61 mm (TD06SL2 / 11 Blades)

here is the specs for the td05

Turbine wheel: 55.8 / 49.1 mm (TD05H Inconel Wheel)

discount the above td05 turbo's as i ruled it out already
