Sweet cheers for the reply. Now to find out if there is any advantage to the other options. I think the billet compressor wheel is a deffinite must have for the Rb30 too.

f**k knows on the billet part, if its the same comp wheel just machined out of billet....no difference, if its a slightly different design that flows more LB's, then worth it...

Here is the 3037s graph showing torque and power. The pink run was the original turbo, the red one was after it was rebuilt by GCG.

Look for a faint pencil line, that is SimonR32's run on E85. It shows T67 a little behind the 3037 until 4500- there's nothing in it so you can say they are roughly the same- after which, the T67 walks away.

Both my runs are at 19psi

I know i said mine made 430, it did, this was re-tuned after i plumbed the external gate back into the main exhaust which lost some power in the top end - not shown in these graphs.

Here is the power/torque graph i tried to post a few days ago. Hopefully this is clearer/bigger, I've included the link this time as well.

Another hybrid

And seeing as they sell the Gt3540 comp covers

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbo-Compressor-Housing-Wheel-Kit-4-Garrett-T04S-AR70-GT3582-/290653484892?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43ac4c375c

Why doesn't someone ask him to measure them, and the 4 inch T67 cover for overall size and then you will have you diameter answer as

we know the garret cover fits on standard manifold with a 14mm spacer

i be looking at a holset hx35 or hx40 for a rotor can pick them up for under $750 brand new.................ive used one on a vn commy was a bloody good turbo good for 30psi no problems..........few guys are running them on 2j's getting good results

or check out the kando t04r range of turbo's..........i be running a a/r 1.00 min for a 13b

or a turbonetics hurricane for $950

I actually missed that 66- P trim 1.00, that might work quite well if you don;t mind some lag on a rotary, and easy to upgrade housings, might get my mate to try one on his

Are peopld calling the plain TD06 the "h" variant? If so what are they calling the SH wheel? I find the Trust speak easier to follow. When my TD05 arrives I will take photos of them all side by side and you will see the clear differencbetween TD06/L2 and the SH

Hi roy,

I don't think so, Well I know I aint any way. The pics would be great.

by td06h he is referring to a SH 67mm, if that helps.

I suspected he was. I have never seen a SH-20G. Looking at a L2 vs SH, I would be shocked if it spooled the same.

the td06h is more for top end really

Yep, tend to agree.

Keen on trying the td06h hopefully isn't all that more laggy then t67

If you mean SH vs L2 off the T67 then I can tell you the TD06SH-25G makes about 20rwkws more but is a little less responsive. Look at the below pics of the differences in turbines and you can see why. Back in the day a mate had and a circle of people around him all went Trust crazy and that's part of the reason I ended up with a 20G. The TD06SH was down on power vs the T67 up to around 4,500rpm then it out grunted it all the way to the rev limit.

I had one on my 20 would be wicked on a 25 I had full boost by 4200

Reading the posts above on this page I think some of the above posts seem to suggest an SH makes ~18psi by 4,200rpm on an RB20.; which happens to be when I make about 20psi on my TD06. I think you will find if you ran an SH wheel you would be making boost about 500rpm later, similar to if you ran a 10cm housing rather than 8cm
