I been thinking of going T67 on NZ manifold and 44mm gate on my 34 too but realized I have to re-route my cross over intake pipe, BOV and all the associated hoses and sensors, what a headfk job..The typical U layout cooler pipes will foul any highmount turbos.. Man would have loved a T67 but too much pain, unless theres better ways..will stick with the TD06 for now

Im doing it, a headfk yes, but worth it. Piping wont be to bad.

Headfk job lol... man hypergear turbos are made for people like you! still a fair bit of mucking around with the TD06..

Do a T67 with a 3" front cover and low mount it.

If you check Roy's for sale thread he has a TD06H-25G that uses a 3" front cover that is normally native to the 20G we get from Kando. Thats a GENUINE TRUST item...........

If trust used the 3" cover on a 25G wheel, it cant honestly be that much worse. Maybe need a psi or 2 extra to reach the same targets. Best of both worlds mate.

I guess roughly the same response if not a TINY bit better and an easy 300kw low mounted (stock mani) on 98.

The T67 and TD06SH-25G both use the 4" cover. The 20G and 18G use the 3" cover in the Trust range

When I read ur for sale thread it definitely looked like the SH had a 3" cover, tell me I'm seeing things?!

Right you are, my bad!

I think it was coz it had the knob chopped off that fooled me. Thanks for posting that.

I still think the 3" .60 cover wouldnt be THAT bad for it. It should still work.

ok heres my crappy edit and ideas..

now the problem running t67 on stock manifold is size yeah and the need for a 30mm or bigger spacer..but if we flip it upside down you should have more room to play with and maybe only a 20mm spacer required..but i need to know the length of

A red arrows

B green arrows..

its still not going to be great but its an idea that could work yeah..

Can't you just make a small manifold adapter and move the compressor housing over a bit? You would need a converter from split T3 to the 3 bolt anyway wouldn't you?

You after some more powerz Artz?

So is it the strut tower that fowls the large compressor housing of the T67? 30mm is a huge spacer btw, assuming you need at least that much to clear the engine block/ rocker cover bottom edge..

No. The compressor housing would foul on the exhaust mani, hence the need for such a large spacer. How the hell do you think it could foul on the block/rocker covers lol?

Edited by Hanaldo

no the comp cover hits on the exhaust manifold Ron you need a spacer on most turbos to clear this...

nah Scott I got more than enough powers mate....I just have a bored brain....:/

Anyway T67 on a stock manifold is a crappy idea....whos idea was it anyway... :domokun:

Lookin at too many pictures, the non pornographic ones..

My TDO6SL2-20G T3 8cm external gate is getting closer to running. Just fitted the Bosch 1000cc injectors. Still to fit the injector loom plugs, Turbosmart FPR and lines then off to get the pipe work done, then tune.

Has the engine been built? Very clean inside compared to most SR tractor motors.
