See if he offers money back gaurentee's?

I do. If some one isnt satisfied i will refund all tuning money and load the tune back in they came with. Hopefully it never happens.

I will try help u out as much as i can for price wise buddy.

Still battling with the tune >_< Sounds like JEZ is the way to go here... Hopefully your tuner can be reasonable after everything you have been through :glare:

You can call ARTZ, his is running and making an awesome 267kw at only 1 bar and with a failed clutch :)

JEM was on the cards early last year but he couldn't squeeze me in.

Sorry that was directed at JEZ, people got their posts in before mine. I probably would have gotten JEZ to tune my SS1PU if he were in Melbourne, but my car is in very good hands at Racepace so :)

As for Artz, I plan on dragging the mofo if my SS1PU does what it's supposed to ;)

JEM are the gurus when it comes to Haltech :thumbsup: I cant wait to get my car tuned.... I MISS my car after 2 years lol

New haltech and vipec/link software is awesome and very similar. Same layout which makes things easier.

Kando vs Hypergear.

Gonna be a good race. I wanna see results for a rolling 3rd

Gear start from 2000rpm. Or 4th if ur on a race track. Curious to see who comes on boost 1st an wins up top

Don't forget, the abilities of the drivers count big time as well.. So maybe do a driver swap and see if the results can be replicated..?

Pull up at lights look at each other,

Kando driver says, "whts the retail on one of those",

"More than u can afford Pal, hypergear" rev car and make dose.

Then cruise up to race track Put in 4th gear both at same speed around 2000rpm. Look at each other, nod then foot flat

I'll take a stab in the dark that, in a rolling scenario from low rpm (2000) my car should pull ahead, given it's the more "streetable" turbo and gets on boost from about 3000 onwards...until around 4000, where Artz would come on and start to reel me in / eventually overtake. From there who knows...probably come down to max power and turbo efficiency in the top end. The Kando might well take it there if Artz can get his slipping clutch sorted.

Would be interesting to test a couple of different scenarios...the rolling from 2000rpm to test lag, and a rolling from 4000rpm where both turbos should be well on song, to test their response (?).

We can swap cars just to get a feel for each turbo, compare based on subjective opinion...but the only fair objective competition would be a rolling drag IMO, taking driver skill out of it.

      Haha actually I did join back then under a different email address,  I couldn't re-activate my account so made a new one! I didn't post much anyway so not missing out on much. Amazing to see how the value of the cars and parts has changed over the years, also ACT section appears to be dead now.

      Thanks... It's in pretty good condition overall, probably due to not being drifted/tuned however being a daily driver has taken its toll. Had 100k on the clock when I got it, up to 180k now. Unfortunately it's not 100% dent free, it's got a small dent on FLH side and broken indicator from where I hit a small kangaroo at high speed. If you look at closely at pic #5 you might spot the dodgy trailer light repair my old man and I rigged up as temporary repair! - It's still there due to a combo of needing the car as daily driver and then too lazy/busy to fix properly. I've a couple of other minor accidents accidents as well but nothing major. One required a new front bar and unfortunately the smash repairer ordered the normal gtst one and not the aero bar. Needed the car back asap so just went with it, regretted ever since.

      I can't believe that anyone is foolish enough to believe that the base maps are for any other purpose than to drive the car up onto the trailer/truck or gently creep it to the dyno. No matter how good they are, they can never be any better than the factory maps**, and only the foolish trust those on a significantly modified setup. **Yeah, yeah. I know there's also the difference between factory maps being fixed to certain injector sizes and MAP/AFM/VE relationships, and the likely aftermarket ECU base maps being better able to handle the sorts of changes that would render a stock ECU dangerous, like different sized injectors. But let's just ignore that for the moment, because the principle is still the same.
