That's brilliant, thanks for sharing!

Reminds me of some very basic motorkhana stuff I tried a couple of years ago. Heaps of guys in their modded big power cars, all beaten with ease by this one dude in a bog stock s___box V6 commodore - he just knew how to drive.

"It's not the equipment, it's how you use it"

very very true...thats why i really enjoy reading this kind of things even though they seem logical but when you use them properly on the track, you get great results...and the best thing i liked about this is that its advice not only for tracking but also had heaps of info for normal day to day driving...and how you can just in general drive smoothly and safely...

Not bad, the one that always gets me is the change from fourth to a 3rd gear corner i always try to change as late as possible but often to late and the rear end tries to step out, can be a little scary..

I can only imagine doing the same from fifth to fourth cause i always makes sure i change early for these but i get a bit over confident for the 3rd gear corners that have nearly caught me out a few times..

Of course none of these techniques really prepare you for an unexpected dip in the road when on the street that can send your car sideways in a split second if hit at speed..

Ive travelled many a road after hearing about fatal accidents only to find there was a big dip that you know has been hit way to fast and launched the vehicle sideways into a pole or similar. Match this with rock hard lowered suspension or with crappy king springs shit shocks and low profile tyres and its a recipe for disaster..
