Mines Ecu Will It Work

Hey just bought a series 1 r33 skyline

was wondering if a mines ecu out of a series 2 would work in my series 1 ?

yes it will work but unless the tune was done specifically for your car then you can end up with one of the 3 possible outcomes:

1: you lose power

2: you gain power

3: you gain power but it isn't a "safe" tune on your car and you end up with a blown motor.

my advice, spend a bit more money and get a nistune.

im going to try it and see how it runs should be okay because the car it came off has the same mods as mine

also im intrested in getting nistune but where is the best place to go in sydney to get it done ?

and how much should i be paying i got a quote for $1100 fitted and tuned?

is that fair?

Had 1 in my GTS-T series 1. No probs at all with it. always ran good fuel. , removed the speed cut and raised the rev limit. It is still in it after 6 yrs .
