Need To Borrow Z32 Afm

Hey guys, having dramas with my car. Wondering if anyone in c'town area can let me use their z32 afm for like 2 minutes to see if my electrical gremlin goes away?? Just wanna be sure afm has packed it in before buying another one. Cheers guys

Surely someone has a z32 air flow meter to lend for 1min? Whats the deal

I don't, but just to help, what's going on? If you know it's MAF related, get a screwdriver, pry the top off the square lid and check the 4 connections in there. The soldering goes bad. Took me 5 mins to fix and half hour before that I thought the world was lost. Only takes 5 mins to check that.

Hey! Its a weird problem, car was on dyno trying to track it down. It's running rich and cuts out at certain load/revs. The wires leading to afm have melted so we're guessing it has shorted or something. Prick of a problem though, only happened after i blew a cooler pipe off for like the 8th time. On the last time it just started doing this. But yeah it all points to electrical somewhere just gotta find a z32 afm to cancel that out. Will give your idea a go though for sure
