I'd only Get a Nismo/Tomei on an S14/S15/R33/R34. The Warlbro sock is on a 90 degree andgle but it needs to be 45. Same prob with a Bosch 040. Mounts on a 45 degree angle so won't pick up low fuel levels well at all.

I HATE spending money I don't have to but I do strongly think it's necessary unless U wanna only use 3/4 of your fuel tank.

Isn't the difference between 341 and 342 whether the inlet is on the right or left side?

As far as running out of petrol? I've never had an issue with my walbro (342). I installed it myself on a empty tank that the needle was at the line (not on the line - level with the empty line) - no issue from very first prime! I've been below the line several times. Filled with 55L and still didn't have problems.

who is dumb enough to "GIVE" it some on a windy hilly road with it dead on empty? cmon be realistic here.. also im the same as simpletool, installed walbro pump and i have no dramas running it right down near the empty line

Ok so from the above posts im gathering that both the GSS 341 and the GSS 342 will fit, any differences in fitting or using them?

Im not buying it from Australia thats why i want to know exact details before i buy it... So the 341 or 342??

A walbro is perfect for an S13 or R32 because the bracket is vertical. S14/R33 and later go on a 45 degree angle riiiiight down in there, causing the sock to angle 45 degrees upward. I guess u could work something out to make the sock sit a bit flatter.

Yeah this, I got a 342 in my rb20det hr31 and any less than 1/4 a tank if you booted it around a corner it would fuel starve, not an issue with a stock pump or other pumps, you can probably modify the sock but it was a massive pain in the ass for me.

My R33 has a vertical bracket.

Like I said 341. if you specify the vehicle you can get the most appropriate fitting kit.

you know the r33 sock of the stock fuel pump fits directly onto the walbro.

I've had a walbro in two of my 33's and an s14, each time I've used the factory sock as it's longer and sits at the right angle.

Just some food for though ;)
