1) Did you know that people have reasons for asking questions? Apologies for reacting the way I did but smart ass comments aggrevate the shit out of decent people.

2) Just because you can't see the validity in someone's point doesn't mean the thousands of other forum members don't...as can be seen from Bubbas comment earlier.

3) when reading text, tone and manner cannot be interpreted so the way you read something may not be the way it was intended to be read.

4) Putting on better tyres will eliminate my inability to know how to drive (just showed your maturity there)

5) Never said I couldn't handle the power, never even said I didn't like the wheels spin, and never said I couldn't drive

6) good to see your a mind reader. might PM you next time I need to make a really important decision.

7) Lucky number 7...means I stop wasting my time typing responses to your shitty talk.

Over and Out...

No, you are wrong once again. I am very willing to help. I offer advice on these forums all the time. Before I waste my precious time answering every silly question out there I merely asked if you were taking the piss. A simple 'NO' would have sufficed but you were too quick to lash out with your arrogant attitude.

We can keep our track car stable at 6000rpm with 550hp at the wheels. It has good tyres. It has average suspension. If I put my foot all the way to the floor, yes it will easily step sideways in 4th at 110. No you can't f**king drive

I wsn't being a smart ass in my first post

So here's my big 'f**k OFF' to you

Hi Everyone

I have a R33 that is fulleh sic, and makes 315rwkw+ and 720nm of torque from 3200rpm.

I seem to fry 1st, second, and most of third, fish tailing past 100kmph.

Can anyone help me? I mean, I'm really cool and all, because I can fry my shit tyres that are only running on about 20mm of the tread because my camber is fulleh sic, etc.

Anyway, I'm cool everyone, my car is teh sic!

lol.

oh, and I raise you all: +2.

Well Said!

My money is the car will end up crashed soon enough... hopefully the OP will be ok....

Can I get in on that?

This made my day!

IMO: sell the car. and buy a couple of hyandai excel's instead. although you might get torque steer. but you could always lower the boost in an excel

Torque steer dance?:bunny:

Despite all the garbage, has anyone considered maybe he is single spinning??

A worn viscous LSD will generally slip when less load is applied, IE loose surface or when the wheel speed is close enough to engine speed for it not to load up. Lighter load on a worn or slipping LSD could see if flare 1 wheel on that sort of power (admitedly not alot).

Try buying a $1 shim from nissan and popping it in.

lol im now hanging round for the laughs.

do the new excells come with traction control that ( for everyones safety) can not be turned off??

Not if their running Super Man Bearing Garret GT984651231's i've been told they torque steer in 8th gear.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Do you really think its safe to encourage him to pull his diff out, knock out drive shafts, remove center, take off crown wheel, install shim and then try to put it all back together in a safe working order.

i have shimmed plenty but i wasnt guessing either. i understand how diffs work/engage and knew the torque settings, back lash setting etc.

i can see a post in near future entitled.... "so i shimmed my diff but then it locked up at 100 km/h and sent me into a tree and now im dead"

lol

LOL

As opposed to I got hekticzz wheel spin at 5700 trying to race a V8 and hit a tree and now I'm dead

but he tuned the wheelspin out of his car remember...so he beat the 4.8 litre 1979 pushrod v8 but then for some reason his wobbling crown wheel jammed up against the pinion and parked him violantly against a tree. lol

Seriously,

I heard he was doing wheelie's when he planted his foot down at 100kmh. that was in his Front Wheel Drive, Super Man Bearing Garret GT984651231's excel without traction control.

i tried looking for a modded excel but laughed to much.

looks like i came to the partay too late... ah well...

fwiw i run a 285rwkw rb25 which hits 20psi by 3400rpm. i run greddy coilovers, camber and pineapple bushes on the rear and a 1.5way locker. ( i also run the car @ 320mm)

in the dry i can plant all gears except 1st right through to my 7400 redline without a hint of wheelspin

you are running a less powerful, less responsive setup and have trouble getting traction, so what are the differences?

i run a locked diff, better tyres, less camber, better shocks, and pineapple bushes. i also have correctly matched shock/springs which i'm guessing you dont due to the comment about camber with stock shocks

fix all these and you should have no worries.

on ethanol i run 325rwkw and lose traction in second, but it's easily controlled with my right foot and dosn't bother me

also coilovers will not allow adjustment of castor or camber (with 180sx/s13 front camber adjust being an exception) for this you will need bushes or adjustable upper/lower arms

you need to get your car to a suspension workshop (not pedders)

i've concluded that this thread is as good as the thread made by the goose asking why he was getting beaten by everyone as he always drives r32 off boost

No, this one is definitely better. He spelled 'losing' incorrectly in the thread title

    • I know this one’s the BB one. My tuner did make mention about the actuator. I am curious about the VCT as well
    • Might also needs a stronger actuator with the right preloading. With older 2019 built bush G3 units, BB upgrade or 21U housing down size makes a pretty decent gain in response as well.
    • Hey lads  so im finally putting together my rb30 forged bottom end and ran into an issue. I measured my main bearing clearance with arp main studs torqued to 60 ft-lbs using ACL H series STD size bearings and standard, un-ground crank shaft journals and got an oil clearance reading of about 1.3 thou measuring straight up and down and about 2.8 thou measuring at a 45 degree angle (just above and below the parting line). My machine shop said they measured the main tunnel and it was all within spec (they didnt say the actual measurement) and to go with a standard size bearing, which i have done and the clearance is too tight, I'm guessing because of the extra clamping force from the arp studs distorting the main tunnel. I was wanting to run about 2.5 thou main bearing clearance.  My questions are: 1. could i just use the HX extra 1 thou clearance ACL bearings? that would fix my straight up and down clearance making it about 2.3 thou, but then would the side to side clearance be too big at around 3.8 thou? 2. what actually is the recommended main bearing clearance for measuring near the parting line / side to side. i know its supposed to be bigger as the bearing has some eccentricity built into it but how much more clearance should there be compared to the straight up and down measurement? at the moment there is about 1.5thou difference, is that acceptable or should it be less? 3. If i took the engine block + girdle back to the machine shop and got them to line bore the main tunnel (like i told them to do the first time, but they said it didnt need it) what bearing size would i buy? the STD size bearing shells already slide in fairly easily with no real resistance, some even falling out if i tip the girdle up-side-down. If im taking material out of the main tunnel would i need a bearing with extra material on the back side to make up for it? this is probably confusing af to read so if something doesn't make sense let me know and ill try explaining in a different way. My machine shop doesn't come back from christmas break until mid January, hence why i'm asking these questions here. TIA for any help or info
    • I bought the model back in Japan in Feb. I realised I could never build it, looked around for people who could build it, turns out there's some very skilled people out there that will make copies of 1:1 cars or near enough. I'm not really a photo guy... but people were dragging me in a group chat for the choice of bumper as someone else saw the car before it was finished as they are also a customer of that shop. I took the photo in the above post because I was pretty confident that the lip would work wonders for it. Here's some more in-progress and almost-done pics. It gives a good enough idea as to what the rear looks like!   I have also booked in a track day at the end of January. Lets all hope that is nothing but pure fun and games. If it's not pure fun and games, well, I've already got half an engine spare in the cupboard
    • Well, do ya, punk? Seriously though, let's fu<king go! The colour and kit looks amazing on the car. Do you have any shots from the rear? I don't quite follow how the model came around. You bought the white kit and he modified it to match your car? Looks nuts either way!
