Hood Air Intake

Anyone knows how to remove the hood air-intake? One of mine is not fitting 100% flush with the bonnet. Is this a common problem?

Lift the bonnet an take a look, the screws are clearly visible from below.

Sorry to go OT, and I'm not sure where you are, so assuming you're in Australia, WTF is it with everyone beginning to call the bonnet a hood? This isn't the first time in SAU that I've seen the bonnet referred to as the hood.

It's a bonnet. The bonnet is the bit at the front of a car that covers the engine. It's not a hood. We speak British English, therefore it's a bonnet. If we had've been settled by the Yanks, then it'd be a hood.

So in conclusion: Bonnet = UK English (ie. ours), Hood = American English (ie. not ours).

As for the bonnet vent issues, I've no idea. I can only dream of owning such a car
