ask any import owner to prove the kms are legit and 99% of them won't be able to. all they can tell you is what they bought the car with. doesn't answer whether the kms the car was imported with were legit though.

If they know where the car was complied, then they can ask the workshop for the de-reg paper - it will have the kms listed for the last couple of times it was registered in Japan. Either that or they can spend the money, import one themselves, and know that the kms are legit.

A high-km GT-R is not a wallet-friendly proposition - $37,500 might seem like a bargain now, but it's not if he has to do an engine rebuild, clutch, gearbox and HICAS in the first six months of ownership...
