In all seriousness you guys that go out the the track, how often do you guys and gals drive the car on the street? dont use ever get pulled over in rbt and defect stations?.. problem is, quite i few times myself or mates have been pulled over and car gone over for absolute nothing... so your still under the eye when your being sensible...

Nup, mines engineered and only comes out 2 times a month, if it comes out more I trailer it to the track.

but then again it is a hardresser car

mind you, my old r33 - with 5 years ownership, pulled over twice. both RBT's.

no defects no speeding fines no nothing

back on topic...car for under $10k, a falcodore is best value, otherwise a small runabout if you want lower running expenses.

back off topic...why do you need a $10k car if you don't have a licence anyway?

I've been driving for 15 years and have yet to get a speeding ticket (will probably get one now  ) Do I think the speeding rules are stupid? Well to a point. We all know that certain roads and traffic conditions can accommodate some types of speeds, I could probably do 150km/h down my surbuban 50km/h street without any problems but in that scenario it is the inattentive pedestrian that could be at risk.

The freeways I could do 150km/h easy and I think there's a good argument for that to happen but the fact is until the government stops chasing the easy money by focusing on speeding, which is much easier to catch/detect than say tailgaiting or dangerous driving, then you're just going to have to be careful and watch your speed when you drive.

Failing to do so will lead to...well you already know.

Petition your government MP for more realistic speed limits although from the position you're in you probably don't have much say given your record.

Toyota Soarer Twin Turbo 6, Between 3-5k on road.

10k for a manual with mods.

Best import you can get for under 10k. Bit on the luxo/heavy side compared to skylines, but they are great ride and tune up well.

I got my R33 for $3500 from a dude on this forum.

needs a bit of love but I think you've got some spare time on your hands now.

some dude on NisSil is selling his 180 for $8k, Tiny baby 2 liter engine can't speed whistling.gif

You can fly down to Tassie and drive it ba..... oh wait.

don't worry OP, I lost my licence a few times when I was a wee boy, I just didn't post up on forums bragging about it. Your bogan mates might think you're a super hero and they're really impressed when you mum drops you off at work and parties but all the trolls on forums will always say the politically correct thing and make you feel silly, but you asked for it.

Edit: f**king lol at nismo skyladore.

    • I would again like too thank Matt for his help in me sourcing the detachable hard top for the little red car, without Matt's assistance in inspecting it and locking it down, I can guarantee it would have sold before I could get up to see it,  and as that was the only available NC hardtop in Australia, I consider myself extremely lucky on multiple levels To say I'm more that happy would be an understatement And, it is 100% water tight, I drove through torrential rain coming back south, and by torrential, they type of rain that doing 40kph in a 110kph zone was a real thing, and even then, the standing water on the Hwy was deep enough to throw waves I'm also more than happy that the huge "BEASTS" that Matt calls dogs didn't eat me for lunch, I'm sure the sniffs and licks were more to "taste test" me, over being to friendly Now to work out what colour to get it painted, panel match, or gloss black........first world problems are real
    • Actually I might have figured out. Looks like there is a tab according to google images but it's hidden. Silly me.
    • No clips on this one like the other connector. Only that red tab that I can push slightly up.
    • For any loom connector that has an obvious release that resists pushing far enough to unclip, just spray some silicone lube into it. You might also benefit from using a bent screwdriver or small pick to push in the right place at the right angle.
    • Hey all, I went to try and fix my indicator not canceling, but I couldn't remove the clockspring cable under the column so I could twist that green thin. Anyone know how to remove this cable? I see this red tab but didn't have any luck. I was thinking of unscrewing it but wasn't sure if it would cause issues. I did notice for my indicator stalk, 2 out of 3 cables were plugged in but the last cable wouldn't fit in the stalk. I'm getting it's for fog lights. It was like this when I originally pulled it off.
