Manifold, gate, dump is all under control already.

Anything with a GT30 core will bolt straight up to wat I can

get my hands on.

I do like that t67 25g kando turbo aswell but I dont like f**kin around with flanges

n shit cause im far to lazy for that.

Except for your exhaust manifold, external wastegate and dump pipe! Or you have to get some custom piping done to run an external wastegate.

He said that he had them already under control :)

I have a HKS GT2835 Pros for sale $1500 in the for sale section, exhaust flange & HKS wastegate and a range of new studs included...

I just installed the same turbo and got 290rwkw on std rb25... yeah its responsive, now I need a good diff to get the power down better

When could I expect a GT3076 to spool?

I'm in the market for a turbo for a similar application as OP.

This kind of conversation happened at the start of the year and I made a vid with a few runs that people asked about the performance of showing the spool against the AVCR in different situations, should give a basic idea. Car wasn't dyno tuned at this point, running a .82a/r internally gated GT3076R on stock manifolds and a stock motor so its the most minimalist possible GT3076R setup - cams and better manifolds etc would only make it better:

I think the HKS GT2835 Pro S is the best overall turbo out there for a stock RB25 today, 280-290rwkw on 98 with full boost by 3500rpm. Things might change once these GTX turbos come out. Only time will tell.

normally i'd agree but since he has an ex gated manifold already i'd say the GTX3071R .82 is going to be the best option here

gt30 or gt28 style turbo is what you want, or if you are a cheap skate get one of the bigger highflow turbos second hand. Should all see in the 250-300kw range with fantastic response, should be making solid power by 3.5-4k

Very similar to my video haha

Mind you I have manifold/gate that may help with response a bit :)

    • Oh, there's also the gearbox crossmember which will probably be different between the small box and the big box, and the wiring loom will probably need to be modified, because the plugs for the switches etc, will probably be different. And I think the speedo on the small box R34s is from somwhere stupid, like the diff, possibly, so you'd need to work out what needs to be done about that (assuming it is different). I think the thing you need to realise is that the front end of that yoke is a large hollow tube with splines on the inside that mates with the splines on the box's output shaft. It is a dedicated thing - not available "aftermarket". They were made to suit that box, by the car's OEM.
    • You need to buy a Saab Matt, ours had a button that turned all the dash lights off. Any decent aftermarket dash has sufficient brightness control and a headlight input for day/night settings. None of which probably helps OP
    • Yeah thanks...i thought it would be alot more i dont know 😄 I saw some videos on converting push/pull and it seems you need to "drill" the hole for slave(master) cylinder and buy some converter kit. On that front yoke clip i did not even know that is a thing and i need to source that(custom shops do not do that?) But anyway thank you for the info
    • Not the headlight. It's the DRL that serves double duty as white and amber. Would be the easiest way to make it happen, if fitting a BCM was in any way an easy thing. Otherwise you'd do it with some relay logic and/or maybe some diodes.
    • Would require a very smart body control module which these cars are about 20 years to old to have
