Rb25Det Oil Smoke

Hey guys I've a problem my mate pointed out to me on my car , it's a full forged built rb25 with spool kit and rebuilt head and mods to suit , it's running a GT3582r and pushing 288RWKW on 18psi and It's currently got around 15,000kms on it . When I start the car I get a little puff of oil smoke out , even if I turn off right away and start it I get the same issue ?? I changed to 5w30 then 5w40 now I'm running 15w50 all full synthetic Nulon and I still have the same issue. My mate also notice a slight oil burning smell when he was behind me when I hit full boost bit couldnt see any smoke at all .. I regulary change oil and filter @ 5000kms and look after it mechanically . I do give it a boost seeing it's not your average RB . Should I be worried and is there any steps I can take to illiminate the issue ??

I wouldn't be too worried about a slight puff on start up, I think it would be expected as the engine is cold, and everything isn't sealing as well as a engine at operating temp.

Get your car to operating temp, then ask your mate if it blows a little bit of white smoke when you take off after sitting at idle for at least 15-20 seconds. Did the shop that rebuilt the head put new valve guides in?
