Well my car does not have an alarm or keyless entry so i use the key to open the door

The key is starting to play up and bit so I an looking at getting keyless entry some how. I'm looking to sell the car early next year so i dont want to spend the money for an alarm.

I've been told that the cheapest way out would be to get a central locking kit and use the wiring module to for the keyless entry kit. would anyone have wiring diagrams for an R33 S2?

Any helpful tutorials you can point me to?

Also i noticed when using the central locking button on the drivers panel only the passengers door responds. That not correct, is it?

Thanks for any help or comments.

cheers,

it is correct actually. the car does not have an actuator in the drivers door from factory. some of the S2 had a dealer fitted keyless system inside the door. that will help with things if the actuator is there. if not you will have to add one. the only connections you will need are power, ground and in some cases IGN and a door wire. the rest of the diagram will come with the unit you buy.
