Gts-T. gotta pay the xtra $$ than N/A but worth it. Is there much difference between series 1 and 2?? wat got changed?? how to tell apart??

and the turbo's in SI and SII are different, i belive that one turbine is plastic and the other is metal

I think sII got a ceramic turbo, or sI had a ceramic and sII got a metal turbine... theres a great link on this site which outlines the differences... i think its in th FAQ section... infact i'll save you the effort http://imports.motortraders.net/imp...n&model=Skyline . Enjoy.

Hope yours is a little quicker to get here than mine was. With various hold-ups along the way it was 17 weeks from successful bid to drive-away.

But hey, even so it was worth it.

Mine is a 1998 S2 R33 40th anniversary model GTS25t (the last of them)Including my contribution it has only just topped 70,000km.

Even dead stock and with the crap compliance tyres it is a bloody nice car to drive.

Go S2 if you can afford it. ('96, '97, '98) mine cost me just under $21k on the road not including insurance.

Importing through John Whiteman at Importcars in Melbourne.(Friend of a Friend) Has been really helpful and quick to respond to emails. Will have to keep an eye out for a s2 when the offers come to my inbox, maybe worth the wait!!

Just one question: please tell me you have priced insurance costs? Hate to see another 'line plowed into a tree with no comprehensive cover

best quote is with famous $1400 full comprehensive then Young and Cool $1500 and Just car insurance $1600

Famous excess $1000 which is BS

Young and Cool I think was also $1000

Just Car $700 excess

will get more quotes when i know full details of the car and work a few deals!!

27 but have 2 speeding tickets and DUI nearly 9 year ago.But most records only go to 5 year max. Stated full driving history though.

Im 23 so the insurance is pretty hefty... cant wait till Im 25.

Im 20, my premium is $2637, i think my excess is $1200 + $700 theft or something... i am on 40% NCB... my premium only goes up to $2770 with 1-5 mods (with just car). It's expensive, but well worth the piece of mind with a car like this. Only 8 or 9 days to go!!!
