Freighting rims interstate?

Has anyone sent rims to Sydney from Melbourne before. Any recommedation on freight companies to use and costs. I need to send a set this week so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have used them before....not really happy with their service and expensive too.

Using a furniture removalist is the most expensive way but beleive it or not one of the safest because your goods will only be handled twice, once when loaded and once when unloaded. Couriers on the other hand they get tossed around everywhere getting sorted and what not who knows how many times but are a lot cheaper.

The minimum charge from Sydney to Melb. for upto 1 cubic metre is $150 - $200.

Dude, I am the operations manager for a transport company and freight stuff to NSW on a daily basis. I am aware there are cheaper options, I could get rims there for a third of the price. Just saying the cheaper options are not the safest.

I am using Border Express. $60 door to door service. Thats all depending on where the pick up and drop off is.
