Great job but not entirely convinced it's in the correct area of the bonnet. I reckon positioned a bit more on the passenger side and higher would have it quite effective with heat extraction from the turbo area.

Any venting has to be better then none at all

finished venting bonnet today......Wing and Front bar to go!

My bonnet is stuffed anyway.....and there also might be some vented ones getting made very soon so to me it was a no risk!

I would not have done testing on a good bonnet.

so if i'm correct this will be cleared by custom's and getting sent up this week, if it's not being too hopeful...............!!!!!

** also i dont know if it can be viably made for under $1000 each but i'll get the ball rolling once i get my hands on it **

nice ;)

Put in the new intercooler today made a diffrence driving around in this crazy heat.

thought it was going to be a prick to install but it went in nce and easy.

HDI Intercooler? Yeah not too hard to do, just need to think about it and lubricate the silicon.

Do want. Carbon or Fibreglass?

Pulled the head off my Stag on the weekend. Did the head gasket. Not sure what happened. It's an RS4(S?) with 103,000km on the odometer, but I think it's been wound back somehow.

Blew the gasket on cylinder 6 into both the oil and water galleries, and it was starting to let go on cylinder 5.

As soon as the temp gauge started to rise, I pulled over and had it towed. Fingers crossed the bearings are fine, as the oil is quite milky.

Planning to have it back together this weekend coming providing parts and head machining aren't delayed!

These arrived at work on Friday for me and I've got myself booked in for this coming Friday to get them fitted

Wrapped in a set of these (They're Falkens, to add some fuel to the Nitto vs Falkens debate :P)

At the same time I'm getting the coilovers fitted AND the bushings kit from the group by. Basically, its christmas.

Oh, and I played the 'jump start your car because the battery is too flat to charge' game on the weekend too.

That must make it Adelaide cruise time! There are a few people keen for a Feb cruise.

I did really exciting things to my car: I retuned the throttle. *YAWN* Feels better though.

Falkens? I read somewhere in a thread that they're pretty good.

Nice wheels btw, :woot:

Finally got an alignment!

Toe was massively out, even on the rear (which wasn't altered at all)

and the place i used actually found more things wrong than when i got the pedders check, so i doubt i'll back there in a hurry

most annoyingly tho, they didn't touch the new adjustable bushes and said there is something wrong with the caster bushes because they aren't stock

good news is that caster is up to about 4.5-5mm and its sitting on 1.5-2° of camber in the front

Will have to give them a call about the superpro bushes and see what they think is wrong
