Ends up it was the wheel bearing, coincidentally one day after dad was in the car and thought he heard a noise from the front right.

So calls start tomorrow to locate one. Is everyone sourcing from Nissan or Amayama? Anyone trying a bearing specialist like CBC?

Amayama is the go; half the price of Nissan, normally takes a week or so.

My thoughs exactly. With the mat black wouldnt even know its there unless the bonnet was up but even the its hardly noticeable. With that and my varex the stagea wont be bothered by the pork sandwich patrol...

There was going to be a bit of a tight bend in the intake so we decided to go with a pod which i don't mined the look of.

Everything's fitting fine with the original fan so I'll leave it in there for now,we also fitted a trans cooler today which fits in perfectly.

I figure in this weather it wouldn't be an issue anyway, we can make up an airbox once it's tuned mate. I'm just glad it started, even for a few seconds.
