So sourced a trust front pipe and a r33 3 inch ecxhaust! Should have it installed in the next few days

So Bilstein's and Nismo's IN!

Most of you can probably see the error. If it wasn't for that error I would have had the shocks and springs in about 4 hours with hand tools, without counting the separate days I did to compress the old springs out of the Bilsteins. But all up 7 hours .

Fixed. Lucky I sent a pic to Jetwreck.

They got better when they settled in I thought, I've had mine second hand from Craig for about a year now and still happy with them.. The rear springs where sqweaking but wd40 fixed that

Why don't you get it ceramic coated before installation, to stop it degrading any further?

K and N standard filter purchased! New gearbox oil! And currently getting a wheel alignment! Back is up to the wazoo, massive toe in on the right

I'm not sure about Sunny coast, but check locally for companies doing performance coatings.

Id expect it to be in the $200-$300 mark for a heat insulating black ceramic. The chrome finishes are more expensive, because of the extra steps in producing the shiny finish.

K+N filters are not a good idea on AFM cars...

It's a none oiled filter! Same one I ran in my vl, it's actually the same filter as a vl. Rang a shop that does ceramic coating! Gonna to see them, $150 to $200 but he doesn't know If he can have it done by next week! Wheel alignment has made a huge difference! Actually have to put the brakes on at lights to stop it rolling

I'd definitely recommend getting it done; once coated it'll last bloody ages longer than just raw galvanised.

I might have to get the thermal gun out & do some comparative temp measurements on my coated components versus non-coated components.
