josh how much did they charge you for labour on all the bushing mate? Looking at getting all mine done to. Did you run with OEM ones or superpro or the like? Will feel amazing to drive now mate I bet.

I'll send you a message via Facebook regarding price mate.

But yeah all super pro or whiteline depending on the bushes. It does feel amazing. Just need coilovers now and it will have full handling upgrades.

Taking her in tomorrow for full fluid change, since the car didn't come with service records gonna go ahead and change oil, tranny fluid, diff fluid, and brake fluid

Wondering if anyone might have some insight to a small electrical issue, every so often there seems to be a small power surge causing all the lights to dim. There is a clicking sound when it happens which sounds like a capacitor discharging

Check the simple things first, battery terminals were my undoing last Thursday night in the Stagea when my car would crank over but not start. Was after midnight and the car was in a fairly safe spot, so I got a lift home and tackled it the next day.

Installed a Transgo kit in my M35 today.

Bit of a messy job but found a good tutorial and took my time and got it done.

See how this goes with the paddle shifters.

can you post a link to the tutorial mate?

Here you go.

Not Stagea but same gearbox.

Mine was same at the 5 ball channel casting and also used the white springs where this guy didn't.

Everything else was the same.

Sounds like the ATTESA relay clicking, the pump draws a fair amount of current which can draw the voltage down if the battery is weak. How often is it happening? You might want to look at replacing the pressure accumulator if its happening a lot.

I went and replaced the tiny battery that came with my car with an optima coiled cell AGM battery. No voltage dips now, though the relay still clicks a bit.

Ive been thinking of the shit kit , this however looks a lot more involved than when I shimmed my old Soarer's trans.

Nice to see another red one.

Thanks :)

Now do first a big service, and then starts to build.
exhaust system, intercooler, suspension and more

and, of course, look for Axis body kit

- Key light has started flashing on the dash, which a quick search tells me is a dying remote battery. Life = over.

- Just bought a full exhaust from a 370Z with 55,000km on it for a massive outlay of $50. I know most of it won't fit without...massaging...but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than $400+ for just a replacement Y-pipe and I have a tame welder I can employ. Now I just have to get it all down to Hawkes Bay from Auckland and convince my wife that it's really only prudent to replace the rear half of the system too.

- Ended up replacing the tyres with some Michelin Primacy 3STs of the same size (215/55 R17). Man they kick seven shades of Shinola out of the old Dunlop Enasaves. So grip, much tyre, wow.

- About to head out on another 600km road trip, weighed down by the everything, including a 7-foot ladder and interior door inside the cabin. I have a page-long list of items to take and I'm confident I can make it all fit, the car hasn't let me down yet.

So, all maintenance stuff really but a change is as good as a rest.

Flushed the trans over the weekend, ohhh back to smooth shifts.

Installed a trans cooler, managed to pop a pin hole in one of the pipes! :O , brazed and all good.

Flushed attesa pump , and then managed to strip/round the filler plug on the transfer case >_< , whoever done it up last time is an asshat. Gonna hunt a new one down Saturday.

Ordered hub rings for the new wheels , got a slight vibration under load from the rear, hope they sort it out.

nice when the next day when you bought your car must use a tow trucks

maf broken

new now was not an expensive 99€ = 149AUD

always put a spare maf in glove box, that's the bible for M35 user
