Nismo

Is it?

Knew it wasn't a standard factory item when I got the car but wasn't entirely sure exactly.

Car came with it from Japan with Nismo speedo cluster, Nismo cat back exhaust, Nismo rad cap, air filter and Nismo badge on the rear tail gate.

Was all these options or just guessing the previous owner liked Nismo items?

Yes, it is Nismo.

Those could all be factory optioned for an RS (although not sure about the badge on the rear).

Perhaps you should check the ECU, you may have lucked out there.

That said, I do not see any Nismo side skirts, rear bumper nor spoiler so perhaps he/she ran out of Yen.

Which Nismo exhaust? Round or square tips (below). I miss my old Nismo exhaust sound.

Yes its the square tips

Am happy with the tone and is quiet enough to not be annoying when doing daily and highway driving.

I would like to lower it a little to reduce the wheel arch gap but dont want to run into clearance issues with parking and curbs and steep spoon drains/driveways due to the front bumper - so i guess ride height will have to stay the way it is

Been a bloody long time since if frequented this fine forum let alone post something! But here goes.

After doing a big end bearing on number 2 cylinder a few months back. I've finally got the car back after a full engine rebuild with Powertune in Sydney.

The car is still on a run in tune, but it goes better than ever (but trust me, it went bloody good before it shit itself...)!

I'll let the attached photo's do the talking from here on in... Gunna be one tough Stagea once it's had its final tune!

Well its been a big weekend.... after 2 days the Axis kit is installed. The flares are secured to the body permanently and do not have the rubber strip between them and the body. It is such a cleaner look. Now to wait for my grill that is on its way from japan. A big thankyou to Aleks Capeski Chris Murph Daniel Savage and Cam.f82e81eb7c51cfe69aea7b70c532df35.jpgc83f0018f6b86d221c105ca7699a4ffa.jpg9c8095100e074c05fd81ea9d00da5b08.jpgab9ed4f405db3a8c42dc84a34d21859c.jpg
