Was it because you didn't tighten it enough or because the line is split?

nah i tightened it, before putting it on, so that wasnt the problem, the join just basically wasnt sealing properly..

You didn't put PTFE tape on the JIC fittings did you? If you do it can stop the fitting from sealing correctly.

How much did you pay? The $500 ones with the foggies?

Going thru Streeter I hope...7% commission vs 14%

$114.thumbsup.gif No, I know the one you're talking about, that one was VERY nice, but I would have to paint anyway, so a couple of little marks didn't worry me. I've just got to fit some mesh in the opening.

Ended up using IM, as I spoke to Jesse last week; whilst his commission is less, his container cost was higher, and the end price was noticeably more on an identical part. I would definitely use him on Air Freight though, great to deal with.

how much to make me a set?

all up pipes and stuff only cost $50, but i spent 4 hours welding and blending and grinding.

but that is only for the rear tips, you still have to make the brackets(in the right spot) and attach the flanges to both the front section and the rear tips.

The easiest way to make them up is on car, that way the clearances to fuel tank, tow bar, rear suspen sion and rear bar is all okay.

it would also be soooooo much easier to do 3 inch inlet into twin 2.5 inch tips. the next set i do will be like this. i'm making some for an r32 gtst and an s14 next.

I think any exhaust shop should be able to make them up and fit them for under $150.

I made a stainless set I sold for $250, back to the flange so he could remove and refit for track days etc. They came up great, not my thing (I like stealth) but the look is perfect. 3 inch pipes are the go, you just need to work out the merge.
