Getting my car ready to be painted. Just took this as a work-in-progress shot after installing body kit. My baby gonna be sexy... but ain't there yet

Thought it would be an awesome idea to have a thread with photos of nice cars when they are in the not-quite-pretty-yet phase. I'm gonna go XR5 orange next month!

Looks like it was light painted judging by the huge streak of white down the passenger side.

Are your front wheels bent dude!?!!? They look seriously bent!

Hey, guys

Sorry for the delayed reply... Car wasn't light painted, it was just a photo i took. it was in the garage (obviously) and that might be the afternoon sun coming in from outside? Once in photoshop, i just adjusted colors to make the background bluer so the car stands out more, then did heaps of sharpening, and painted in the sharpening, so the whole image wasn't oversharpened, just parts of it.

Car is just half prepped for paint, as far as i know, wheels aren't bent (hopefully)

nah I think its just the way those wheels look, Ive seen them on cars before where if you look at them at certain angles they dont look quite right
