its pretty much stock i have stripped everything out of it and just after some ideas where to start to make it good for the track. i will do a conversion later if i fall in love with racing with a 25 or 26 but atm running a 20.

want to test it out asap.

leave it standard powerwise

but do brake pads and fluid, flush radiator - normal service kinda thing

then have fun

you dont need a cage

you need seat time

seat time = quicker laps

youre looking for 'sprint' days and not race days. have a look at the Wakefield and EC websites. Will need CAMS L2s or AASA license, $50-$100 / yr.

grab an oil cooler and some track day pads (see the brake pad thread in suspension). A1RM, HC+, Yellow/Blue Stuff, F2500 etc.

new oil in the engine, box, diff and brakes (rbf600).

hit the track with the standards rims and tires. upgrade the suspension, tires (ku36, 595rsr, r1r, rs3, ad08) then (re55, ao50) etc as you get more confident.
