What Obd Ii Protocol Is The V35?

I've got hold of a ScanGuage II computer to plug into my V35 but it wont connect properly.

Does anyone know what OBDII protocol the V35 uses? It will be one of the following: ISO, KWPS, KWPF, CANSF, CANLF, CANSS or CANLS.

With regard to your inquiry, we would like to inform you that 2002

Nissan Skyline is not equipped with OBD II. We use CONSULT II to

diagnose 2002 Skyline V35.

thats right, the US models use OBD2.

Thats odd! i have an 04 350GT, and i use the blazt cable which usese OBD11 communication, CANbus based, i can only presume that the 02 is the earlier OBD1 if it usese the consult software.

04.5 IS CAN bus. the earlier one is as well but a very different version of it unique to japan.

what is it youre trying to get from the consult port?

there is a greddy informeter which is a great product! runs off the consult port and can have a few extra sensors installed.

japan didnt have same obd2 requirements so there are some cars with obd2 port and consult2 functionality but no actual obd2 functionality. particularly for cars delivered only to japan/australia/middle east etc without any obd2 requirements.
