Hey ppls.

This may have been covered but I'm not exactly sure what to search for.

At what power/torque level will I max out the airflow meter on my R-34 GT-t ??

I'm tossing up whether to do it when I put the PowerFC in (now) or wait until I am pulling bigger numbers.

I currently have a full exhaust, have just wound up the boost to around 10 psi.

Standard Turbo and intercooler.

Also, I didn't catch the HPI-R34 project car when they swapped meters, and I was wondering whether you can completely hide it so that none of the constabulary can tell.

BASS OUT

Usually around 215rwkw or so, but the PowerFC will tell you when it's maxed out. I wouldn't be overly concerned, because it will just dump fuel in when past the limit so you'll get a bogged down top end, assuming the injectors aren't maxed out also. Just try it with the original AFM and see what happens, if you don't get the warning light then there's no reason to change the AFM.

Hi Bass junky, the Z32 AFM doesn't look any different to an RB20/25 AFM. Both black, have Nissan written on them and 80 mm in diameter. Only the colour of the label to give it away. JimX is pretty right on the power for an R33 GTST, the R34 GTT seems to go a little further before it hits max voltage. The AFM's are the same, so it must be that the Neo is a little more efficient.

Hope that helps
