Hey guys, I own a '93 R33 GTS-T Skyline and have decided that this year I'm actually going to do something to it instead of just talk about it, haha... But what I want to do, I've only heard that it's possible... And I'm not 100% if it would... So if you guys know if it's possible and what I would need to do to make it work, feel free to throw in your knowledge please.

So here we go...

40' thou oversized pistons, H beam rods, RB26DETT crankshaft... That's the basics at the moment... Turbo is still unchosen and headwork will be done to what is needed. I've heard that this combination will stroke the RB25 to an RB26 or an RB27, but I doubt it personally.

I'm not after massive horsepower, I want a decent street car I can thrash at the track and come home afterwards. Like I said, feel free to throw your opinions at me. More help I get, the more knowledge I attain, the better I can make the car.

I will eventually be going down the RB25/RB26 stroke path later this year. This subject has been covered a little bit on the forums, please use the search function. You will also need to use RB26 Pistons along with the RB26 crank due to the extra stroke.

Any particular reason you want to go straight to 40' pistons? I would suggest going for 20' so if you ever have to rebuild, there is still enough material to remove from the bores, and pistons are readily available.

Using oversized pistons is not stroking a motor.

But bit of a thread dig there Abe :)
