HPI's R34 - Info please.

Hiya All - I'm trying to find info on HPI's R34GTT. I have the magazine scan from when the turbo blew up and I know it's been sold on Ebay but I don't know what happened inbetween, can anyone help?

They were going to run cams, head gasket, injectors etc what happened, what was fitted etc?

They fitted lots of gear such as Tomei Cams, Large Garret turbo on highmount manifold, Apexi intercooler, Tomei fuel pump etc.

I think the end result was somewhere in the region of 280rwkw.

Lot of top spec stuff - ended up 292rwkW and 11.9 on the quarter.

I seem to remeber the whole theme was to keep it stock looking as possible.

XTR '3040' equivalent on a custom low mount manifold - the only thing out of place was the Apex pod.

There were a couple of snags like the 480cc injectors (largest on the Neo).

I still see the car on Silverwater Rd. every so often but it's a shadow of its former self.

Thanks for all the info guys, do you know what type of tomei cams they used - PONCAM/PROCAM and the degree's in/exh (252/260 etc).
