Yes - I do ignite alot of these fights, but if you can't take a joke, dont respond. ignoring someone is the bigger key to pissing someone off.

Looking at this thing in a general, broad view; Skyline drivers flaming Skyline drivers? Rather annoying.

There are two major factors here;

1. People don't understand that what they write can be taken in the wrong context (given you can't effectively portray tone via text.... yet =.=)
   
2. People need to learn to be more tolerant of other people, and accept that maybe they don't mean to flame them.

I've been around almost as long as 66yoHugh but I don't pretend to know everything (or anything if you like). I don't like stretched tyres or noisy bovs but I am quite happy for other people to. Its not the disagreement that's disagreeable its the unnecessary abuse -- I thought that was what Sylvia forums were for!
