Much Confusion About Power Fc :s

Hi all have trying to find out.. about this cannot seem to find anything.. unless searching for the wrong thing..

I have and r32 gtst with and rb25det.. ecu is rb20det 04u00 MEC-R106, (GARAGE SAURUS tune, apparently ecu is locked? [that i read on here, have not been able to find any more info about])

would i get an rb20 or 25 one? / can i even get one / will i need a new ecu or can the saurus one be unlocked? :S

You'll need an RB25DET PFC.

Not sure about your other question regarding the saurus one though?

Iv got the same problem with my ecu, Toshi tried getting into it and it was locked by whoever remapped it. I just bought a power fc and should be in by next week

oh and you'll need a 25 power fc.

you need an ecu to match the loom and sensors your using. normally with a 25 conversion you'd use the 25 loom and therefore a 25 ecu.

If you want to Nistune it you'll need a Z32 ecu.

johnoo is spot on, you must match what loom and sensors you have

it sounds like in your car they have remapped an RB20 ECU to run like an RB25, which is possible, but you need to buy an RB25 powerfc
