It feels bad doing this.... but I have to sell the car I've wanted so bad for years now.

It's a clean, non-turbo R33. Perfect for a P-Plater looking for a nice, clean car to drive around.

It's only just clicked over 156,000KM, all genuine. It was my daily driver, and has taken me from my house, to my girlfriends place, to work, and back without any issues.

I'm it's second owner since it was imported three or four years ago. Comes with all original japanese service books, logs, paper work, and the original book it keep it all in.

Haven't dynoed.

Haven't gone to a track day in it.

My mods include 10,000K HID bulbs.

Previous owner put an apexi thing in it, which I've taken away from the shifter and have put in the glove box. It doesn't do much other than tell you your RPM and speed....

The only other mods are a sports steering wheel and a short shifter. The short shifter was apparently done in Japan, and I've had a couple of friends tell me how nice it feels.

Tires are new-ish, they got put on in August roughly and have heaps of tread.

RWD. RB25DE engine. Stock exhaust.

Clean interior, comes with Kenwood head unit (cd player and aux input). Depending on sale price I may leave the sub and amp in the boot. The only problem with the interior is a bit of wear on the drivers seat where you get in/out, which is fairly normal.

Reason for selling? Regos up and it's served as a harsh reminder that I can't afford to spend more than half my paycheck on repayments for a car when I'm trying to save to buy a house on junior wages.

I was going to sell it to my friend, but he's not looking to buy for another year and I can't afford to own the car for that long.

Because rego is up, she'll come with 6 months rego.

Consequently, she's hitting the mechanics and is getting a service and look-over.

Asking $13,000, but I'm negotiable. Car is located in Old Toongabbie, inspections are welcome.

No test pilots, only people interested in buying the car can come for test drives.

Hopefully a SAU member buys it, so I don't have to pay $60 to place an Ad on carsales

Also, more photos are coming this afternoon.

Sorry, my phone number is 0412 651 823

Edit: I forgot to mention there's very slight damage on the front bumper in the corner. There's a little bit of paint missing, nothing massive. Would be cheap to fix, I just don't have the money at all. I've buffed out most of it. Had a minor accident in a carpark with a fellow employee :(

I'll message you when I charge my phone, you're than welcome to come for drives and shit, Caleb :)

Cars still for sale, I've got a bit of interest outside of SAU and Carsales, but ehhhh.

Price is neg, lemme know what you're thinking.

Even if you THINK you might be interested, just at a lower price, come have a chat / test drive. I don't mind if SAU members want to come have a drive/look.

    • Ha ha ha, mine loves to spend, all on the dogs (they're our kids, and her spending would likely rival that of some people raising children!) the only benefit is, her spending is tax deductible as she runs a business in the dog industry 😛 The above all means she can spend race car budget quicker than I can. 😛 That and a lot of the things I want are very expensive, and I can be a bit "you want how much for that?!" And at other times overly impulsive. Or I start the w days of research, get to day 1.5 and get really annoyed that no one will advertise actual specifics and it's just marketting BS and I go "well, now I don't want anything to do with that now!" Also I hate paying lots of money for something I can make from $50 in materials. Then I get the shits halfway through making things and wonder why others who just buy parts have more fun... 😛
    • Their 240Z with the RB26 would be a real nice thing to have in a garage to come out for an occasional weekend cruise It's such a cool thing in so many ways Sadly, we have a blue 240Z shell that I walk past every day, just sitting outside a shed at work, it has been slowly disintegrating and falling apart into the ground for the last few years, the owner cannot be found, and I am unable to "claim it" I've been told by work and the RMS, the rust in the body is excessive though, and it has had most of the salvageable stuff, like panels, trim and switch gear stripped off it over the last year or two, work keeps threatening to put it in one of our metal scrap bins, I wish they did though, as it makes Mark sad walking past it
    • Good tips, I like it! 😂😂 My wife is a LOT more frugal than me so it's only me we need to worry about! A splurge to her is buying 2 pairs of socks in one visit at Kmart!
    • Haha, the appropriate response to the question "Is this new?" is "I've had this for a while.". With the unspoken small print that a while may be the time since this morning or five years ago   And to be fair I learned that from the best, i.e. my wife. Because it goes both ways.
    • Yeah kids certainly add a whole another dimension to your life.  Life ceases to be about you and more about them for a while!  And I wouldn't have it any other way.  I love watching them play sport and make new friends along the way. Wow, sounds like your mate is a good guy to know!!!  He's got some serious toys in the toy box!  Yes it would be lovely to be able to do stuff to your car without getting all tied up in boring shit like how to pay for it!!  I would describe my spending style as "aggressively spontaneous and logical but regrettable purchasing"....  That will hopefully make no sense at all which would be appropriate given that is how I buy stuff.  I'll decide at the drop of a hat that I'm buying something expensive, research the living shit out of it for 2 days straight then go out and buy it.  Then I'll have instant buyers remorse for 2 days which generally passes by the time it turns up on the front step!  If I'm feeling ballsy sometimes I'll tell my wife.  Other times it just makes its way silently passed the house and out the back to the shed, never to be spoken of again...
