Mostly use the AC to defrost the windscreen or just to quickly rid the car of hot air after had the black beast parked in the sun.

I don't like the noise and cyclones on hwys, the rare times i travel above 80...

No hot air in a cold car. but yeah. I pref to have all on the car working. if i want power, i can turn it off lol. I dont believe in being silly bout it all.

I'd recommend Lonsdale Auto electrics, weird looking shop but they did good work at a reasonable price.

So I'm told my system is too old to re-gas with what it takes (R12) and rebuilding it all for new gas is ultra expensive (not quoted). I was told possibly someone with some of the old gas cleaner which is now unavailable would prep the system for the new gas type, but you can't buy it any more... Alternatives to this, any one?

I didn't pay too much more than $300 to upgrade my system to the new gas... Don't recommend where I went though cause he didn't do my air intake back up properly!
